Our wedding team has created a list of the most frequently asked questions by our clients and their guests. Please refer to this list if you have any questions of your own. If your question is not listed here, please do not hesitate to contact our Wedding Team.
Can I park on the Grand Pier?
Unfortunately, there is no parking directly on the pier. There are several public car parks located within walking distance of the Grand Pier.
Do my guests have to pay the admission charge to come on to the Pier?
No. Our security guard will be provided with a guest list and each of your guests will be granted free admission.
Is there accommodation located nearby?
There are a range of hotels located within close proximately of the Grand Pier. There are a selection of hotels you will be eligible for a discount with as a Grand Pier customer.
Are there facilities for disabled guests?
Each room is easily accessible by wheelchair and has a disabled toilet located nearby.
Will the Pier be open to the public?
The Grand Pier pavilion will be open to the public but you will have exclusive use of your chosen function room.
When does the Grand Pier Close?
Times may vary for the events calendar. Last admission is 15 minutes before the Pier closes. Announcements are made over the Grand Pier tannoy system at regular intervals in the last hour of opening.
Can we use the rides and attractions?
Both you and your guests can enjoy the rides and attractions at discounted prices if you pre-order vouchers. Please note that time restrictions do apply.
Can the bride be driven up the Pier for the wedding?
We allow 2 bridal cars to drive up the Pier. These will be escorted up the length of the Pier for Health and Safety reasons and must be removed as soon as the bridal party have been dropped off.
How will my evening guests have access if the Pier is closed?
We have 24 hour security at the entrance to the Pier so all your guests will be granted access after closing hours providing they are on your guest list.
